Rocky Mountain Power – For the Win!!

A huge heartfelt thank you to Rocky Mountain Power for addressing the extreme damage to sections of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail from Spring run-off around the Douglas Street Trailhead area last month. These quick actions helped mitigate damages to residential homes, the Ogden City storm water infrastructure, a canal, and the accompanying reservoir directly below this trail.

To further assist in the damage repair, Rocky Mountain Power will be utilizing the recently repaired access road as well as sections of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail located from 12th Street and North to Douglas Street Trailhead area beginning June 5th. These operations will not close the trail but could interrupt it briefly with equiptment driving up and down. Please be aware of the potential traffic and proceed with caution around Rocky Mountain Power equiptment and crews.
