TRAIL CREW
The Trail Crew position is focused on building and maintaining multi-use trails for the Trails Foundation of Northern Utah (TFNU) throughout Weber County. Please email resume and at least one letter of recommendation to [email protected].
Job Location: Weber County, Utah
Position Type: 40 hours per week; Seasonal from Mid April - Mid September (approx.)
Wage: $17-$19 per hour, DOE
The Trail Crew reports directly to the Trail Lead. Duties shall include but are not limited to:
Job Description:
Ability to perform a wide variety of heavy manual labor duties for extended periods of time, and often under adverse weather conditions and in various climates.
Ability to carry tools and equipment from vehicle parking areas to work areas which could be up to a mile away.
Ability to adapt to the surrounding work environment and conditions that can change frequently.
Maintain and repair hand and power tools and other equipment as necessary.
Must enforce the use of appropriate safety procedures in all tasks.
Previous trail building or maintenance experience preferred
Must provide own transportation to work location
Must provide own work boots, gloves and safety glasses
Hand tools will be provided
