TFNU is Hiring Seasonal Trail Crew Positions

TRAIL CREW

The Trail Crew position is focused on building and maintaining multi-use trails for the Trails Foundation of Northern Utah (TFNU) throughout Weber County. Please email resume and at least one letter of recommendation to tfnu@tfnu.org.

Job Location: Weber County, Utah

Position Type: 40 hours per week; Seasonal from Mid April - Mid September (approx.)

Wage: $17-$19 per hour, DOE

The Trail Crew reports directly to the Trail Lead. Duties shall include but are not limited to:

Job Description:

  • Ability to perform a wide variety of heavy manual labor duties for extended periods of time, and often under adverse weather conditions and in various climates. 

  • Ability to carry tools and equipment from vehicle parking areas to work areas which could be up to a mile away.

  • Ability to adapt to the surrounding work environment and conditions that can change frequently.

  • Maintain and repair hand and power tools and other equipment as necessary.

  • Must enforce the use of appropriate safety procedures in all tasks.  

  • Previous trail building or maintenance experience preferred

  • Must provide own transportation to work location

  • Must provide own work boots, gloves and safety glasses

  • Hand tools will be provided
